Marco Margarita, born in Rome on July 19, 1965, is a Certified Public Accountant, Accounting Auditor and University Professor.
In 1991, he attained a PhD in Business Administration at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”.
In 1992, at the University of Rome “La Sapienza,” he passed the State Examination to qualify as a Certified Public Accountant. He has been a member of the Order of Certified Public Accountants of Rome since May 4, 1993.
He has been registered in the Register of Auditors since the date of its establishment.
He is a Technical Consultant to the Court of Rome and the Provincial Tax Commission of Rome; and has been registered as an Auditor of the Lazio Region since 2012.
Within the framework of his profession, he has specialized in tax consulting for corporations and corporate transactions for Italian and international companies and groups.
Since 2006, he has served as President of the Board of Directors and of the eCampus Foundation for University and Research.
Since A.Y. 2016/2017, he has been an Extraordinary Professor of Tax Law, Faculty of Law and Economics at the Telematics e- Campus University.
He is the author of several publications in the field of taxation and contributes to journals in the same field.
Since July 2024, he has assumed the position of president of eCampus University.
