10 Human and Social Science - Database

OpenEdition Books

Description: Platform promoting and distributing the publications of publishers working in the humanities and social sciences. Its ambition is to build an international library for the digital humanities, encouraging publishers to adhere to an open access policy in the long term. Works are accessible through a catalogue common to all publishers, allowing searches by categories, disciplines, publishers, authors, language or even year of publication. The search engine can lead either to books or, in more detail, to book chapters. The search can subsequently be narrowed down by specifying the desired categories, disciplines, publishers or authors. The works are searchable in the dedicated space of each publisher. More than half of the catalogue is freely accessible in HTML, citable, printable and 'encapsulable' on external sites
