Description: I.Stat is the datawarehouse of the statistics produced by Istat, a complete and homogeneous information pool, unique for Italian statistics. Statistics are organised by themes structured in a two-level hierarchical tree. The data are presented in aggregate form in multidimensional tables, with the possibility of composing customised tables and graphs, acting on the variables, reference periods and the arrangement of headers and sides. The system can be interrogated in the following ways: by keyword, by theme and by territory. An extensive apparatus of metadata facilitates the retrieval and understanding of statistics by users.
