Criminology - Juridical and Forensic Psychology

Academic Master - 2nd level

OBJECTIVES
The Juridical and Forensic Psychology learning patway of the academic master in Criminology provides a solid foundation required to tackle, in the capacity of technical consultant or expert, investigations, debates and appraisals in the civil field. In the first part of this course, the teaching staff will provide transversal knowledge that can give the student the basics from a psychological and legal point of view.

 

TARGET STUDENTS
The master is aimed at students of psychology or law who wish to pursue a career in criminology.

The aim of the master in Juridical Psychology is to train psychologists in carrying out, managing and structuring a relationship in the context of criminal/civil conflicts where minors are involved.

 

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Degree, attained prior to Ministerial Decree 509/99, or Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree or Specialist Degree attained pursuant to Ministerial Decree 270/04, in any discipline in accordance with the regulations prior to or equivalent to Ministerial Decree 509/99. subsequent to Ministerial Decree 509/99.

 

ORGANIZATION AND DURATION

The master has an annual duration, for a total of 1500 hours.
The implementation modality is full online through the online academic platform, which is accessible 24 hours a day.
The exams are administered in the form of a written multiple-choice test, provided in the online platform of the university.

Upon successful completion of all the exams provided for the course, the candidates are required to write a final dissertation under the supervision of a professor, which must then be discussed in front of a commission of professors.
