Implementation of the Remote Exams
Recognizing the difficulties that COVID-19 has imposed on workers and students, Certiport has developed a solution for administering Certification Exams Remotely (ECR), i.e., remotely at the candidate's place of work or home.
This ECR solution makes it possible to comply with municipal, Regional or National regulations issued on COVID-19 and at the same time meet the needs of Candidates for whom travel is often difficult or not allowed.
Certification exams taken in ECR mode are valid in the same way as in-person exams, as the exam session is supervised through online proctoring provided by Certiport.
- Remote Certification Examinations (ECR) are managed through the official Certiport predisposition carried out through its virtual machines and Certiport and CertieXam platforms..
- In order to schedule the ECR Exam sessions, the customer will have to to send a specific e-mail to certificazioni.it@uniecampus.it, indicating type of Exam and approximate date that will have to be confirmed.
- The Exam sessions must be requested 7 working days before the date of availability of the Candidate. The exams will then be planned and agreed upon on the basis of a calendar that takes into account the weekly availability of On-Line Proctoring and allocation of virtual PCs. They will normally be confirmed within 5 working days..
- Sessions will be held Monday through Friday and from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.. It will not be possible to hold exams in this mode on different days and at different times.
- In case a session has already been booked, it can be cancelled within 48 hours from the actual scheduling. Any sessions not cancelled within this deadline will be considered as allocated and actually held.
- Each candidate must have a PC with stable connection, webcam and microphone, which must be kept active at all times.
- During the exam session NO OTHER PERSON CAN BE PRESENT in the classroom besides the interested candidates.
- The Candidate cannot bring in the classroom cell phone, notes, additional PC or other devices or supports.
- AdAt the beginning of the session, the Candidate will be asked to show the Examiner the exam station and an identification document.
